Leading up to and on this past Saturday, November 11, UGI Energy Services (UGIES) honored and supported those who have served our country and community. While our team is committed to supporting veterans in our community year-round, Veterans Day is an opportunity to highlight that commitment.
In 2019, UGI Energy Services relocated it's headquarters a few miles down the road to the newly developed "Knitting Mills" complex. Located in Wyomissing, PA, our home office has a rich, long-standing history. Within our community, we have seen this location be home to many influential businesses and we are proud to be continuing on with that legacy. Today, November 11th, we observe a historic day with deep significance, Veterans Day. The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs’, Office of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs, explains the meaning of this day as “…A celebration to honor America's veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.” We are proud to honor all our veterans and thankful for our internal Veteran Employee Team (VET) that works hard all year long to support the communities where we live and work. UGI Energy Services is proud to honor the bravery and patriotism of our veteran community. We thank them for their dedication and service to our country. As a company, we strive to honor and support our veteran community in a variety of ways. We are proud to share the activities that our VET team has engaged in over the past year.
