Celebrations are in order! March 17th marks the anniversary of the creation of UGI Energy Services in 1995. If you are doing the math, that means we are celebrating 28 years in the Energy Marketing & Midstream business!
While marketing and supplying natural gas, liquid fuels, and electricity to customer locations across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern US is a huge part of our business, that is not all we do! UGIES Midstream Services' is busy behind the scenes making serving our customers and end users possible. At UGIES, our Midstream Services group connects producers, distributors, and marketers with the assets and services they need. This week (February 20-26th) is EWeek, or Engineers Week, which was founded by the NSPE (National Society of Professional Engineers) in 1951. Our Engineering team is an integral piece of the UGIES puzzle and contributes to the overall success of our company.
