Natural Gas

At UGIES, we take pride in our highly reliable natural gas plans, both financially and physically. We own and operate our own natural gas storage and delivery assets, offering both fixed- and market-price plans. Our strategically located facilities are fed into the local utility and interstate pipeline systems, ensuring a consistent supply of natural gas to your facility.

Electricity

Our electricity plans, whether fixed or indexed, empower you to manage your electricity expenses proactively. A fixed option is where we provide electric power at a preset price for a specific period, providing cost predictability.

We also offer power at a rate indexed to the hourly PJM Locational Marginal Price.  This is an attractive option for users who can take advantage of market pricing and are willing to accept some level of price risk. The indexed price fluctuates constantly with market conditions.

Liquified Natural Gas

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is an energy-dense replacement for propane or fuel oil for industrial users. It’s also used as a diesel alternative in on-road trucks and mining vehicles and helps power the oil field service, marine, and rail sectors.

We have been producing and working with LNG for over 40 years and are a leading provider of LNG for businesses of all sizes. We own and operate facilities that store 15 million gallons of LNG and have a liquefaction capability of over 120,000 gallons per day.

Renewable Energy

We are committed to creating a cleaner, more environmentally friendly future. As a result, we are constantly focused on investing in new renewable energy alternatives. Our current selection of renewable energy options includes renewable natural gas (RNG) from dairy digester and landfill gas applications, photovoltaic solar facilities, and other power alternatives. Our specialists in green energy help your organization navigate the intricate world of Renewable Energy Credits (RECs and SRECs), tax credits and incentives, carbon offsets, and Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs).

Propane and Liquid Fuel Oil

We currently own and operate six strategically located liquid propane gas (LPG) Air Plants, where we transport, store, and market LPG. By strategically purchasing LPG, we provide competitive pricing for summer and winter propane supplies to wholesale customers.

Additionally, we offer full-service logistical support and transportation, including two fully supported rail terminals. We also provide traditional tank storage capacity for through-putting at our rail terminal and trucking-only facilities. This serves as a viable alternative for our wholesale propane customers with limited storage. Our dedicated Liquid Fuels team prioritizes superior sales and service, with special attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

Midstream Services

We facilitate the connection between natural gas producers, distributors, and marketers, providing the assets and services necessary to improve customer service efficiency and reliability.

As a leading midstream service provider in the northeast U.S., we are continuously adapting and pursuing various pathways to success. These include linking supply to markets by utilizing UGI's existing pipeline infrastructure, integrating pipelines with storage and peaking, developing new services to assist utilities in transitioning from long-haul pipelines to local supplies, and offering producers timely and competitive gathering services.
