Well wishes are in order, it’s our anniversary! March 17th marks the anniversary of the creation of UGI Energy Services in 1995. We are celebrating 27 years in the Energy Marketing & Midstream business!

UGI Energy Services, LLC (UGIES) and Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc. proudly accepted The American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania’s (ACEC/PA’s) annual Diamond Award for Engineering Excellence in an award ceremony held on January, 27, 2022. The Diamond Award, which was awarded for UGIES’ Bethlehem LNG Facility, recognizes engineering firms for projects that demonstrate a high degree of achievement, value and innovation.

This week (February 20-26th) is EWeek, or Engineers Week, which was founded by the NSPE (National Society of Professional Engineers) in 1951. VALLEY FORGE, Pa., January 4 – UGI Corporation (NYSE:UGI) announced today that its subsidiary, UGI Energy Services, LLC (“UGIES”), has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Stonehenge Appalachia, LLC (“Stonehenge”) from Stonehenge Energy Holdings, LLC for approximately $190 million. This investment is expected to be immediately accretive to adjusted earnings.

UGI Energy Services continues to invest in energy sources that provide customers with energy solutions that are innovative, efficient and beneficial to the environment. Such sources include renewable natural gas (RNG). The UGI Energy Services communications team recently discussed RNG with Director of Business Development Dave Lindenmuth to help customers better understand the fuel, its benefits and its outlook for production and consumption growth.
Q: What is renewable natural gas, and how is it produced, stored and transported?
Dave: Renewable natural gas (RNG) is biogas produced from the breakdown of organic materials including trash, food waste, animal manure, and wastewater sludge.
