Ag-Grid Energy Commissions New Renewable Electricity Facility in Partnership with UGI Energy Services

May 8, 2023 – Coventry, CT – UGI Corporation (NYSE: UGI) today announced that its subsidiary, UGI Energy Services, LLC and Ag-Grid Energy LLC (“Ag-Grid”), commissioned a new renewable electricity facility at Hytone Farm in Coventry, CT. The new facility was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today that was attended by Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner, Katie Dykes and Congressman Joe Courtney.

Renewable offerings - whether in the form of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), Carbon Offsets, or Customized Combined Products for a Greener Energy Portfolio - continue to be an exciting topic of discussion within our organization and among our customers. 

Every year on April 28th, the world observes the World Day for Health and Safety at Work. This day was established by International Labor Organization to raise awareness about the importance of providing a safe and healthy workplace for employees across the world! This day is an opportunity to reflect on the challenges that workers face in their jobs and to overview the necessity for improvements in workplace safety and health.

It is International Women’s Day!

Those of us around the office know Patrick. We know of his quiet, polite manner. We know that we can rely on him to help us understand the energy market. Most of us know that he was born and raised in Ghana. Some of us even know that he went to university in the Soviet Union during the perestroika era. But none of us really knew his true story of how he came from such a humble beginning, and of the incredible tenacity, determination, and, yes, a little bit of luck, that brought his brilliant mind to the team at UGI Energy Services.
