And just like that, 2021 has come to a close! What a whirlwind of a year it has been, and yet we have managed to make it one to remember. Before we jump into the plans we have for the New Year, we would like to reflect on the impact we have made throughout our communities over the past year.

The holidays are a time for thanks and giving, and this year, we did just that! UGI has been busy spreading joy and merriment throughout our communities over the last several weeks. Our employees participated in a variety of charitable activities and donation drives across our footprint. We are so fortunate to collaborate with these wonderful organizations, particularly throughout the holiday season.
At UGI Energy Services, we value the work we do in the community through our incredible employees. We work closely with organizations like the United Way to determine where we can help in the places where we live and work. One program in particular is close to our hearts. On Wednesday, October 27th, 2021 -- UGIES had the pleasure of sponsoring The Salvation Army’s 2021 Advisory Board Annual Civic Breakfast at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Reading, PA. The expectations for this event were nothing short of exemplary and even those were surpassed! With that being said, who better to provide a synopsis of the morning other than UGIES’ own Stacey Taylor who attended the event?
October 9, 2021, Reading, PA -- UGI Energy Services, LLC (UGIES), a subsidiary of UGI Corporation, today presented the Veteran’s Coalition of Pennsylvania a work truck filled with donated items in advance of the winter season at the Coalition’s Mini Stand Down event. The truck, a Ford F-350, and donations were coordinated through UGIES’ newly formed Veteran Employment Team (VET).
WYOMISSING, PA, September 7 – Cayuga RNG Holdings, LLC (“Cayuga RNG”) announced today that it has entered into an agreement to develop its second project to produce renewable natural gas (“RNG”) in upstate New York. This is in addition to the previously announced Spruce Haven Farm initiative. Cayuga RNG is a joint venture of UGI Energy Services, LLC (“UGIES”), a subsidiary of UGI Corporation (NYSE: UGI), and Global Common Energy, LLC (“GCE”).

WYOMISSING, PA, August 4 – Hamilton RNG Holdings, LLC (“Hamilton RNG”) announced today that it has entered into definitive agreements to develop innovative food waste digester projects to produce renewable natural gas (“RNG”) in Ohio and Kentucky. Hamilton RNG is a joint venture owned by a subsidiary of UGI Energy Services (“UGIES”), a subsidiary of UGI Corporation (NYSE: UGI), and Synthica Energy, LLC (“Synthica”).
UGI Energy Services’ employees recently joined the Emerging Leaders United team of the United Way of Berks County to collect an assortment of primary and preventative care supplies for Tower Health’s Street Medicine Program. Organized by fellow employee and ELU cabinet member, Heather Ayala, this collection of items will be used to help individuals in the areas around our corporate headquarters in Reading, PA.
On Monday, June 14, 2021, UGI Energy Services hosted its Sixth Annual Charity Golf Outing benefiting the United Way of Berks County. More than a hundred golfers joined UGI Energy Services for a beautiful late-spring day at Berkshire Country Club. UGI Energy Services thanks longtime title sponsor Price Gregory for their continued support, as well as the generous contributions of many other sponsors.
Most people associate March 17th with Irish heritage and all things green, but here at UGI Energy Services, we have another reason to celebrate. March 17th marks the anniversary of the creation of UGI Energy Services in 1995. If you are counting the years in your head, that totals 26 years in the Energy Marketing & Midstream business!
