This week (February 20-26th) is EWeek, or Engineers Week, which was founded by the NSPE (National Society of Professional Engineers) in 1951. Our Engineering team is an integral piece of the UGIES puzzle and contributes to the overall success of our company.
Now, more than ever, we are in need of the talent of women and girls when it comes to science. To celebrate females that have made a difference globally for the sciences, as well as continue to push forward with equality of gender within the field – February 11th is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. It is critical that we use the full participation and leadership of females in the science and technology communities. By shattering stereotypes, we are able to recognize that women play an important role, if not more, in these areas.
VALLEY FORGE, Pa., February 15, 2022 – UGI Corporation (NYSE: UGI) announced today that its subsidiary, AmeriGas Propane (“AmeriGas”), the nation’s largest retail propane marketer, has entered into an agreement with Global Clean Energy Holdings, Inc. (OTCQX: GCEH) to purchase and distribute renewable LPG. AmeriGas will leverage its supply and logistics infrastructure and sales and marketing teams to market and distribute renewable LPG to new and existing customers primarily in the state of California.
WYOMISSING, Pa, February 10 - Pennant Midstream, LLC (“Pennant”), announced that the company has signed a series of agreements throughout 2021 with a subsidiary of Energy Developments Pty Ltd (“EDL”) headquartered in Brisbane, Australia to accept delivery of renewable natural gas (“RNG") into its natural gas gathering system. Pennant is a partnership between UGI Energy Services, LLC (“UGIES”), which is a subsidiary of UGI Corporation (NYSE: UGI), Harvest Midstream I, L.P, and a subsidiary of Williams Companies.

VALLEY FORGE, Pa., January 4 – UGI Corporation (NYSE:UGI) announced today that its subsidiary, UGI Energy Services, LLC (“UGIES”), has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Stonehenge Appalachia, LLC (“Stonehenge”) from Stonehenge Energy Holdings, LLC for approximately $190 million. This investment is expected to be immediately accretive to adjusted earnings.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! As the hustle and bustle of the holiday season draws near, it is a perfect time to reflect on all we have to be grateful. This is the time of year to count our blessings, and give back to those that may not have the same advantages that we do. Supporting our local communities through the United Way is one of the ways UGI Energy Services employees give back. From providing monetary donations to volunteering, hundreds of thousands of people in Berks County are served through 80 programs at 33 partner agencies supported by the United Way. Each year, UGI Energy Services campaigns to raise money to support the United Way. The campaign includes a loaned campaign specialist (LCS) from our business, giving out incentives to encourage donations, creating videos on why we should donate, and more.
